Day 1 :
Chandigarh to Shoja (266KM/8-9Hours)
Reach Chandigarh on your own. Once you arrive, our driver will greet you at the airport or railway station and escort you to Shoja, traveling through Narkanda. Shoja is a serene mountain village located in the Banjar Valley of Himachal Pradesh, nestled between Kullu and Shimla districts. Perched at an altitude of around 8,000 feet, it is known for its untouched natural beauty, wooden houses, thick forests of deodar and pine, and sweeping views of the Himalayas. It serves as a peaceful offbeat destination for nature lovers, trekkers, and birdwatchers, offering access to nearby spots like Jalori Pass, Serolsar Lake, Raghupur Fort, and waterfalls hidden within dense forests. Unlike the crowded hill stations, Shoja retains a calm, rustic charm, making it ideal for travellers seeking solitude and authentic Himachali culture. Arrive in Shoja, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Shoja Local Exploration
After breakfast, visit some beautiful sights of Shoja. 1. Jalori Pass 2. Raghupur Fort Jalori Pass (Jalori Jyot) is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 10,800 ft (3.120m) above the sea level, situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It connects the Satjuj Valley with the Thirhan valley of Banjar. Here is a Mahakali temple known as Jalori Mata, visited by thousands of devotees from the nearby villages. The place is famous for its long meadows and a pristine lake called Serolsar. Serolsar Lake is one and half hours walk from the Jalori pass. The trail goes through a forest of oak and Moru. You can feel the sounds of the leaves crushing your feet as you hike up to the Lake. There is another route you can take toward the lake which follows the ridge line on the top of the mountain. Jalori pass is a perfect destination for spending your day in the wilderness. Raghupur Fort is a historical fort located near Jalori Pass in Himachal Pradesh, India, known for its stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and valleys. It sits at an altitude of 12,000 feet, offering a 360-degree panorama. The fort is reached by a 3 km trek from Jalori Pass, passing through dense forests of oak and rhododendron. It's a popular destination for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and adventure seekers. (Moderate to easy trek, around 2–3 hours ascent depending on pace) Once the trek concludes, make your way to the Jalori Pass and proceed to the hotel. In the evening, return back to your pre booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :
Shoja to Tirthan (30KM/1h 45min)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Before proceeding to Tirthan Valley, Explore Jibhi & some of its famous locations. 1. Jibhi Waterfall 2. Bahu Lake 3. Balo Temple 4. Chehni Kothi Jibhi Waterfall is a hidden gem tucked away in the serene Banjar Valley of Himachal Pradesh, just a short walk from the quaint village of Jibhi, surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, the waterfall cascades gently into a clear pool, creating a tranquil, almost fairy-tale setting. A short trail, dotted with wooden bridges and shaded by lush greenery, leads visitors to the falls, making the approach as enchanting as the destination itself. Its peaceful ambience, cool mountain air, and photogenic charm make Jibhi Waterfall a favorite stop for travelers seeking a quiet escape amidst nature. Bahu Lake, also known as Bahu-Balo Nag Lake, is a sacred lake located near Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh, India, about 10 km from the main town. It's known for its peaceful and scenic environment, surrounded by lush greenery and considered a holy place by locals. Balo Temple (also known as Balo Nag Temple) is a peaceful and spiritually significant destination located near Jibhi in the Seraj Valley of Himachal Pradesh It's nestled in a meadow, near Bahu Village, which is approximately 10-12 km from Jibhi main city. It's a hidden gem, often visited for its serene atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings. Locals offer iron items at the temple when their wishes are fulfilled, highlighting its importance to the community. The temple is located amidst lush greenery and offers beautiful views, making it a great spot for nature lovers. You might even catch glimpses of the Himalayas from Bahu village. Chehni Kothi is a towering traditional structure in the heart of Himachal Pradesh’s Tirthan Valley, celebrated as one of the tallest remaining examples of Kath-Kuni architecture. Built centuries ago using alternating layers of stone and wood, it originally served as a fortified watchtower and granary for the local rulers. Rising dramatically above the quaint village of Chehni, the multi-storied tower offers a glimpse into Himachal’s architectural ingenuity and cultural heritage, while also providing sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Today, it stands not just as a historical landmark but as a living reminder of the region’s timeless craftsmanship and traditions. After the visit, continue your journey to the Tirthan Valley. Tirthan Valley is known for its beautiful forests and Himalayan Mountains. Serene and slow, it is the perfect getaway in all seasons. Tirthan Valley’s Gushaini village is the gateway to the Great Himalayan National Park, which is known for its biodiversity. Most GHNP treks begin and end here. You will discover quaint villages with traditionally built houses in Tirthan Valley. Also known as the Valley of Gods, there are many temples and shrines here. The proximity to GHNP guarantees many species of birds and largely intact forest ecosystems, which will delight nature lovers. Arrive at Tirthan valley in the evening, check in into the hotel for an overnight stay. Take a walk along the Tirthan River; enjoy trout fishing (optional).
Day 4 :
Day 04:- Tirthan Valley Local Exploration
After breakfast, visit some local and famous sites in Tirthan Valley. 1. The Great Himalayan National Park (12KM drive to Gushaini & 4KM trek from there to The Himalayan National Park) 2. Sharchi Village The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), located in Himachal Pradesh’s serene Tirthan Valley, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its pristine landscapes and rich biodiversity. Spread over 1,170 square kilometers, the park encompasses deep river valleys, alpine meadows, snow-capped peaks, and dense forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron. The Tirthan entrance—accessed via Gushaini—offers some of GHNP’s most picturesque trails, including riverside walks to Rolla, treks to high-altitude pastures, and routes into remote wildlife habitats. Home to rare species like the Himalayan tahr, blue sheep, snow leopard, and over 200 bird species, GHNP is a paradise for nature lovers, trekkers, and wildlife enthusiasts. Its unspoiled beauty, absence of motor roads inside, and commitment to conservation make it one of India’s most authentic Himalayan wilderness experiences. In the evening, Visit Sharchi which is a tranquil village nestled in the Tirthan Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. It's situated at an elevation of 6,890 ft, or even as high as 7,284 feet in some accounts. Sharchi is considered by some to be the last village of the Tirthan Valley. The village offers an opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle of the Himachali people. Home stays and guesthouses run by locals allow travelers to experience the local culture, cuisine, and customs. Sharchi boasts stunning landscapes and a serene environment, making it a rejuvenating escape. In the evening, return back to your pre booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5 :
Tirthan to Chandigarh (294KM/10Hours)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Chandigarh. Our driver will drop you at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. We hope you leave with wonderful memories of your trip, filled with joyful experiences and moments to cherish forever.
